...At Lilly! YAY!!!! I have picked some of my favorites from Lilly Pulitzer's site, C. Orrico and In the Pink:
Adelson Shift Gold Lace ($278) Oh my Lord! What a GORGEOUS dress! Such a wonderful addition to any wardrobe. Classic, classy, simple, GORGEOUS! Must have!
Andover Dress Printed ($168) In my opinion, the Andover is one of the great shapes of the Lilly pantheon. I really like the pink and green print I have seen in this collection but also the Lawn Slubs as well.
Pearce Dress Novelty ($278) Scallops. What more is there to say?!? Tons of SCALLOPS! OBSESSED.
Bowen Dress Jacquard ($248) Oh, this dress is ADORABLE. The colors are SPOT ON! What a fun dress for a party!
Tori Dress Gator ($228) I like the classic lines of this dress. I also love that neckline!
Lilly Lovers want to know- what are YOUR favorites from Spring 2010? More importantly, does anyone know when the new Originals line will be coming out?!

Lilly in the Press! Janie in Modern Bride!
While I am no longer looking at bridal magazines anymore, many are! Lilly Lover Lindsey gave me this page from Modern Brides to post here that she found while planning her own preptastic wedding. In it, Janie explains how to incorporate Lilly prints into every aspect of your nuptials! Lilly prints were certainly the inspiration in my own pink and green wedding. Hurray for Lilly in the Press!

Lilly...with a Twist!
Extra special thanks to Lisa at Privilege for yet another STELLAR and FABULOUS edition of "Lilly...with a Twist!"
Lilly was noticing a strange phenomenon. Her friends were getting married. That wasn't so strange. In fact, Lilly's mom often hinted that maybe single was stranger. Lilly ignored her. No, the strange part was how her married friends changed once they emerged from the bridal haze.
Take Sissy, for example. Back in the day, Sissy was all about sassy. Everything wildly pink and as short possible. Anything that wasn't pink, gold. Especially shoes and bags. No longer. When Sissy threw her first dinner party, she greeted Lilly at the door in a gorgeous Kaya dress, a Paley cardigan, and, apparently, a new commitment to the environment. Her shoes supported coral reefs around the world. "Oh dear," thought Lilly, "My shoes barely support my feet." Sissy did look fabulous. Happy. With a sinking feeling in her heart, Lilly entered the married-people-party. Everyone looked so, well, married. Settled. Intentional. Happy. Lilly sidled over to the bar, and asked Chip, Sissy's husband, for a glass of champagne. "Lilly!" cried Chip, "I wanted to introduce you to Bryan!" "Oh, no, I'm, I'm just, I'm...." Lilly couldn't think of anything to say to prevent yet another embarrassing hello-nice-to-meet you moment. She turned. Wait a minute. Wait just a minute here. Chip's cousin Bryan? He's the handsome, edgy, unsuitable guy from a few months ago. "Hello," said Lilly, "How nice to meet you."

Lilly Home has arrived! AT LAST!
Hello friends! The Lilly Pulitzer Home line with Garnet Hill has arrived! What do you think?! I am very happy with some of the items but I was also very surprised at how expensive some of the pieces were. One of the rugs is $498!
Now, I usually say that I wish Lilly would take a more upscale approach to their collaborations, but now that they have, I have to say I think the timing is off. Right now, with the economy the way it is, it would have been wise to follow in the footsteps of the last home line and offer more affordable pieces. I was also disappointed that there are not more bath accessories as they did last time. Perhaps those will come in a second wave of items. Having said that, I am already making mental plans about decorating rooms around these pieces! FAB!
Chinoiserie Bath Rug. I will definitely be purchasing these rugs for my bathroom. I love the design and the colors are spot on ($38-$78):
Chinoiserie Towels. I will buy these to match the rug but will save them for when guests come over. What a lovely scene these will make together! ($14-$32):
Leaf it to me Pillow Cover. Love the green color and LOVE LOVE LOVE the pom poms! I don't have a thing to go with this but I may buy it anyhow. Too cute to pass up! ($58):
You can view the entire collection online now at Garnet Hill. Please let us know what you think of the items! Lilly Lovers are dying to know your opinion!

Exciting NEW Lilly News!
Hello friends! Our favorite pink and green lady has done it again! We've got TWO big scoops here for you today, Lilly Lovers! Let's get started, shall we?
First of all, WOW! Listen to this:
PLANTING POLOS
This season Lilly Pulitzer colors the globe GREEN in more ways than one! For every Lilly polo purchased we are working with American Forests to plant a tree!
With “Planting Polos” we also debut 2 brand new & updated fits – the Resort Polo and the Chic Polo – guaranteed to fit and flatter. It’s time someone breathed new life into the classic polo… why not Lilly? The Resort Polo is sporty, comfortable and hits at the hip, for easy, on-the-go wear. The Chic Polo is the high fashion friend, with its long, lean fit and polished enamel buttons. Available in over 8 different colors like Hotty Pink, Keen Peach, Turquoise (the official Pantone color for 2010!), limeade, and the always Classic White!
With the purchase of ANY Lilly polo at our boutiques nationwide, Lilly will plant a tree. Watch online as our digital forest grows before your very eyes!
Isn't that simply THRILLING?! Of course Lilly could do no wrong in my book to begin with, but their constant attention to philanthropy, the environment, and the lifestyle of their customers (and TRUE Lifelong Lilly Lovers!) never ceases to amaze me! I like the light green color the best. Wouldn't it be charming with some white Lilly capris or a linen skirt? BUT WAIT! That's not all! Listen closely:
AND INTRODUCING…The PERFECT Uniform to transition you from Winter to Spring!
We think we’re on to something here… as we can not keep this “Murfee” scarf in stock (an easy, breezy $118!). Just by looking at the girls in the office, we think we have a new transitional “uniform.” A super soft tee, dark skinny jean, and a printed lightweight scarf, all paired back to the perfect ballet flat.
I LOVE these new patterns! I think my favorite is the second from the right. It reminds me of the Originals collection. I didn't think I was interested in getting one of these, but with this great pattern added, how could I not? This is OBVIOUSLY a must-have for every Lilly Lover. Especially with the recent FREEZING cold weather the East and Midwest has been suffering through! Let's do a quick visual of the outfit Lilly recommends. Who doesn't love a visual aid?!
Now, that is a fabulous "uniform" if I ever did see one! What do you think of the latest from Lilly?! Will you run out of the house this very second to buy a polo and new Murfee?? Lilly Lovers want to know!

MAC in Lillyland!
Very exciting news in Lillyland! Lilly Lovers and MAC lovers will be here SOON! Namely, TOMORROW! Until then, you can purchase the items NOW online! WOW!
I will definitely need to SEE these in person before making a purchase (some of those colors seem rather bright) but I am sure they most likely just appear that way in the packaging and will look lovely on. Will you be headed to your nearest MAC tomorrow to grab some Lilly goodies?
